Untamed

Finished reading Untamed (Book four of the House of Night series) by P.C and Kristin Cast this morning. I truly enjoy this series even if it is a little on the juvenile side. For those of you who don't know the House of Night series. It is basically about how teenagers are chosen to attend the House of Night. Where they learn to become adult vampyres. The books follow Zoey Redbird and her time at the school. So far there are four books, the fifth one coming out in March. If you like the Twilight Saga you will enjoy these books. Highly recommenced them.

Love me some Cap'n Jack

Just finished Another Life(Torchwood Novel) by Peter Anghelides today. I originaly bought this novel do to my addiction to the show. (which I'm hoping comes back to BBC soon) Easy, and enjoyable read. Combines both the crazy sci fi stuff and funny characters that you will become attached to. Each character is portrayed as they are in the show with thier differnt personilites. I plan on reading the other novels as well. Each book is written by a differnt author, just like each episode is directed by a differnt person in the series. Highly recomend this novel to anyone who enjoys the show or enjoys the sci fi genre.

Sticks and Strings

Finished Casting Spells by Barbara Bretton yesterday. Very cute novel. My mom got if for me a gifty since I'm obsessed with knitting and magic. Its one of those books once you start it its hard to put down. It will make you laugh, and believe in true love. The book is basicly about this women Chole Hobbs who owns a knitting shop called Sticka and Strings in a magical town of Sugar Maple. Her best friends are a wicth, feae and a shape shifter. She stands out in the town as the only true human living there who is the ancetsor of the founder of the town. When a murder happens in her town a poilcemen Luke comes to investigate. Chole falls in love with him and finds her true destiny. Great read, I highly recomend it.

Hannibal the Cannibal

So yesterday at work I finished Hannibal by Thomas Harris. What a spectacular novel. Its really a shame that it got so butchered in the movie. So if you have seen the movie (or not) I highly suggest you read this book. Like other books that have been turned into movies, I much prefer the book. Once you get reading this you will not be able to put it down. I also like that in this book you get a glimpse of why Dr. Lecter is the way he if. For his full background story I would suggest reading Hannibal Rising also by Thomas Harris. That book gives you the full story of how he became what he is in Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. A warning to those these books are very dark and creepy. Which I personally love to read, but some might not. Brillently written with twists and turns you would never see coming.

More stuff.

So big news in my life is that I finally finished my pink camo scarf yesterday. Very excited about that. First full knitting project I have finished since I knitted that scarf a few years back of D. Fall semester is coming to a close. Last fall semester as a undergrad. Which I'm really happy and sacred shit less about. This means in May I will be a college grad and have to be a grown up. I also have two more years of grad school to look forward too. I know it will be worth it once I have the masters. But I just feel like I have been in school forever and a day. Also depresses me a little that I will be 25 when I'm finally done with school. SO if I find the right guy now. Then I should be able to get married by the time I'm done with grad school. How sad is that. My graduation and my wedding are two things I look forward to in life the most right now. I guess I just want that fairy tale ending like everyone else.

Argh

So yeah its been forever since I have posted here but I suddenly felt the need to post again. I hate the world at the moment. One of my best friends looks have gotten dumped by a update on her face book status but yet she won't talk to me about it or answer when I call her. Only one of my true friends is actually talking to me at the moment. I got told by a random dude from craigslist that he felt no physical attraction. Even though he was the one who messaged me in the first place, hes a fat pig anyway. I just sent him my pictures in hopes hes was nice guy anyway. So I'm cyber stalking my ex D again cause I can't get him out of my mind as of late, and I wonder if hes just a lonely as I am at the moment. And he has been hanging out with my ex best friends alot as well which really grinds my gears. Also the two guys I have slept with and attempted a relationships with have stopped talking to me all together. God damn what do I have to do to find a decent man in this town. I'm also hating all the kids in my classes who don't come to class but yet still get higher grades on tests then me. Argh. My older sister and niece just visited, I'm so freaking jealous of her. Shes short fat and frumpy, yet she is married to the love of her life and has a child. GOD DAMN IT. Hope tomorrow is better.
